Project Description: The Construction Manager for Essex Builders Corp. served as the General Contractor for the construction of a two four-story, slab-on grade wood framed townhouse units, as well as the gut-rehabilitation of a three-story historical building for a total of 13 new housing units. The gut-rehabilitation of the historical building involved the demolition of a later addition and the restoration of the exterior with guidance from the Cambridge Historical Commission. The new construction was required and qualified for an Energy Star Homes Rating.
