Project Description: Essex Builders Corp. served as the Design Build/General Contractor for this 43,000 SF, ground-up, hollow fiber filter manufacturing and research facility. The process included; fast-track design, permitting and construction in order to relocate the existing facility. The new facility included improved manufacturing systems designed for long-term flexibility and expansion. A gas-fired HVAC system was installed, as well as a sophisticated R.O., pure water and M.E.P. Systems. Two-tier utility distribution systems were constructed to carry process piping, piped gases, and low voltage electricity designed to provide flexibility for additional equipment.
