Project Description: Essex Builders Corp. served as the General Contractor for this 10,000 SF renovation to the lobby and social services as well as a 68,000 SF renovation of the Berger Building Frail and Elderly Housing Facility. A custom steel frame entrance canopy was erected along with an entrance vestibule utilizing brass clad sliding doors. All carpets, light fixtures, millwork and columns were custom manufactured. Pedestrian passageways were reconstructed and full height windows were installed to enhance the natural lighting within the walkways and lobby. All interior work was completed while maintaining pedestrian/resident traffic.
