Project Description: Essex Builders Corp. served as the General Contractor for the construction of a two-story addition; housing a new elevator, new rear entrance with handicap ramp, two classrooms, and a minister’s private office. Renovations included a rebuilt and enlarged choir loft, new lighting, acoustical treatment, code compliance and handicap restrooms. Extensive historical research and analysis were essential to ensure the matching of the existing trim for this historically certified reconstruction. New steel frames support the original rear wall and rebuilt choir loft.
